Our Family and extended family members LOVE Vacationland. We have stayed there many times and always look forward to returning. It is well run, clean and has lots of great activities for the kiddos. Definitely recommend a visit!
I met some friendly people staying here and the tent site next to the water was really nice. It's clearly an RV campground though.
The reviews on here that say there isn't enough to do for the kids is absolute nonsense. The campground is built around activities for the children. Every single weekend, every single day, and often times throughout the week there are multiple activities designed just for the children. If a beach, a band, a playground, arts and crafts, DJ Dance geared toward the children, a pot luck, field games, and MANY more activities aren't enough for your child than you did not attempt to engage them. The campground is riddled with the happiest children on earth. If you have a concern, voice it to the owner, she is compassionate and most importantly she is my mother and she would be heartbroken to find out that someone had a bad stay at Vacationland.
